A patch update for Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Ultimate Edition (PS4/Switch) was released on August 1st, 2018.

Please update so that you can check out the latest mode!
※ An internet connection is necessary to download the update.

Update Details:

– Jammies Mode!
Play as Shantae in her jammies and pillow fight your enemies on a cute new adventure.

– New Transformation Dance!
Now, you can transform into Sophia III from Blaster Master Zero. (The dance needs to be unlocked in-game.)

How to Update:

PS4
– If you turn on your PS4 while connected to the internet, the update file will be downloaded automatically.
– After the download is finished, start the game and the update will be applied.
※ If the update is not downloaded automatically, press the OPTIONS button on the home menu to check for updates.

Nintendo Switch
– If the Nintendo Switch console is connected to the internet, start the Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Ultimate Edition application to be prompted to download the update.
– On the home screen, put the cursor on the Shantae: Half-Genie Hero – Ultimate Edition application and press + to open the options menu.
– From the options menu, select Software Update > Via the Internet
